Dr. Martens 1461 Playing Card

I've been wearing this brand since I was in highschool. If one polishes this shoe everyday, it'll last over 6 years. I'm not a trendy person. I like a shoe that looks smart and dapper. I have two sets of these shoes:

set 1: for everyday work.
set 2. to wear with my cheap charcoal 3 button suits.

Polish them with a discipline of 'every other day' then these shoes will last for years adding to your smart & dapper look!

Timeless. I find the shoes (and the boot) very comfortable. Goes easily from work to play. Socks no socks.
The UK ones are double the price and certainly will last longer I think. These are pretty much the same and will probably last a couple years. These easily break in with one wear. UK version is made with a better leather and with this comes break in time.

Very happy with the comfort and the look. I could not find a half sizes, so I ordered 1/2 size larger than I need. With thick socks, the shoe is quite comfortable. As some have noted, the leather is quite stiff to the touch, but once on your feet these feel quite comfortable to me and have become among my most comfortable shoes. I'll be interested in buying a pair of doc martins boots next. Lot's of people notice them, so if you're looking to be a wallflower, you might want to avoid this shoe -- I'm comfortable with them being a conversation piece.
